It's that time of year again: the countdown to the 114th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade has started! The Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting this year's parade, which will be held Wednesday through Sunday, December 14-18. If you love seeing boats decked out in lights and Santa Claus hats, Newport Beach 2022 Christmas Boat Parade is the event for you.

2022 Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade Route:

The Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade will move through the Newport Harbor on December 14 – 18, 2022. The parade starts and ends at Lido Isle, with festivities kicking off at 6:30 p.m. each night.

The parade starts at the east end of Lido Island and continues along the celebrated route to Marina Park, the largest public viewing area along the route. The park offers 177 parking spaces, a nautical-themed playground, a picnic area, and a sailing center, making it an ideal location to watch the parade from.

Residents and visitors can enjoy the parade best by viewing it from any of the many waterfront restaurants, bars, and cafes that offer waterfront views.

On the opening night of the parade, a special fireworks display will kick off the festivities at 6:15 pm. Then, on the final night of the parade, another special fireworks display will close out the parade from the Balboa Pier.
